Our Story
International Voices is a student club and literary art magazine founded in 2017. We celebrate Lehigh’s diverse community of student, staff, and faculty artists, photographers, and writers. The student governed magazine highlights the creativity, diversity, and inspiration that flourish at Lehigh University.
However, International Voices is far more than a literary magazine. We host several social activities and service events throughout the academic year. We collaborate with the Center for Gender Equity, Lehigh After Dark, the larger Bethlehem community, and many more!

From the current issue
What speaks to me in this year’s collection from International Voices, is a vehement desire for people to be allowed to define themselves, rather than being defined by others. I see students wanting to be heard by teachers. Children listening to but also not wanting to repeat the ways of their parents. These texts are asking us to come closer and to listen and then listen again. They invite us to get uncomfortable with whatever we think is normal. They encourage us to put down our usual routines and get out there, into the worlds of others to hear others tell us who they are.
